Strip for Overlay

Midalloy stocks the most important grades of stainless steel and nickel alloys for strip cladding using the submerged arc (SAW) or the electroslag (ESW) method. In combination with the proper Midalloy fluxes, strip cladding offers higher deposition rates and lower base metal penetration than conventional sub-arc wire cladding methods.
